Adam Elover, CFA®, CPWA®


Adam serves as Chief Investment Officer, bringing over 23 years of Wall Street experience. He specializes in developing investment strategies for high-net-worth clients and managing sophisticated portfolios with complex needs.

Adam is a Partner of McLaughlin Private Wealth and serves as the firm's Chief Investment Officer ("CIO"). He joined the firm in October, 2024 and plays a pivotal role in the development of investment strategies offered to the firm's high-net-worth clients as well as the management and oversight of all assets under management, many of which are sophisticated portfolios with complex needs. With over 23 years' experience as a Wall Street veteran, he has earned a distinguished reputation in financial services and brings a combination of specialized technical knowledge and advisory expertise as an exceptional investment professional and a seasoned financial advisor.

Over the past 18 years, Adam has held key leadership roles at City National Rochdale, an investment management firm in New York. Prior to joining McLaughlin Private Wealth, he served as Director and Senior Portfolio Manager where he partnered with financial advisors providing custom portfolio management solutions for high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients, overseeing approximately $4 billion in assets. For the last 10 years, he has worked closely with many McLaughlin Private Wealth clients where he played an instrumental role in managing their portfolios and enhancing value. His distinctive investment approach blends personalized service with deep market insights, aiming to enhance after-tax portfolio returns, while still prioritizing capital preservation through disciplined risk mitigation and tax-efficient strategies.

Adam holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. In addition to being a CFA charterholder and achieving the CPWA designation, he also holds FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses with LPL Financial. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to continued education and professional development being actively involved in the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA).

Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his wife, Alexis, and two children, Grayson & Piper. He enjoys coaching Little League and serving as a Board Member of the Armonk Baseball League.
