JAMIE MCBRIDE

Helping people reach their goals has been the hallmark of Jamie's career, which led to his cofounding of Cornerstone Wealth Partners. For over three decades in the financial services industry, Jamie has specialized in wealth management and financial planning for individuals and small businesses, along with employee benefits planning. He takes a relationship-driven approach with his clients, working closely with them to understand their unique circumstances, long-term goals, and the people who matter most to them. Whether guiding a family through retirement and estate planning, helping a business owner design a 401(k) plan that takes care of their team, or coordinating with a client's CPA and attorney on complex tax and trust strategies, Jamie is committed to delivering thoughtful, personalized advice that stands the test of time. However, this is not the only place Jamie has made a significant contribution professionally.

When hometown client, Window World, Inc. created their Board of Directors in 2011, Jamie was immediately selected due to his background in finance and long-term support of the company. A representative example of his leadership was his intimate involvement in a special project known as “The Stinger.” This collaborative project, created in partnership with the late race car driver John Andretti, featured a one-of-a-kind commemorative Indianapolis 500 race car (“The Stinger”) that was offered at auction. The effort raised over $1 million in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Jamie relocated to Wilkesboro, North Carolina over 30 years ago after meeting his wife, Susan. They are blessed to have two daughters, Lucy Caroline and Sophia Elizabeth. The family are active members of First United Methodist Church of North Wilkesboro.

While he has made North Carolina his home, Jamie remains a die-hard Boston sports fan and spends much of his time convincing his clients and their children that the best sports — from the Red Sox and Patriots to the Celtics and Bruins — are played in Boston.
